Founded in 2003, The Whale Corp. is a specialist company in environmental test equipment.
The path we have walked is the history of environmental test equipment in Korea, and to this day The Whale Corp.'s challenge continues.
We successfully completed environmental test equipment that had previously depended on foreign companies—such as Kia Motors' altitude-simulation climatic wind tunnel, GM Korea's high/low-temperature climatic wind tunnel, and the Korea Railroad Research Institute's full-scale climatic chamber for railway vehicles—by independently developing it with domestic design technology and securing our own core technology.
Building on this proprietary technology and years of accumulated know-how, we advanced into the global market. In January 2009, we won and completed on a turnkey basis the climatic wind tunnel for SAIC-GM in Shanghai, China—the first climatic wind tunnel project in the Chinese automotive industry—which proved that we possess international competitiveness that stands comparison with the world's leading companies.
On the strength of this confidence, we will accelerate our future expansion into the global market and stand tall as a leader in the field of environmental test equipment worldwide.
