7.0 / 4.8㎡
Operation
Since 2008
- The first full-vehicle climatic wind tunnel completed on a turnkey basis awarded to a domestic company
- The Nozzle Size was built as the largest in the Korean automotive industry, and the High Speed Nozzle can reproduce wind speeds of up to 250 km/hr
- The Solar Simulation System perfectly reproduces real solar radiation, maintaining a uniform illuminance of up to 1,200 W/㎡, and in particular features a Daylight Simulation System that can reproduce and adjust the solar angle as it changes over the actual hours of the day
- The 4WD Chassis Dynamometer, which implements the various resistances that occur during vehicle driving, provides Front Wheel 250hp / Rear Wheel 400hp to cope with the continuously increasing power of vehicles, and its maximum speed of 250 km/hr achieves the highest speed among facilities in the Korean automotive industry
- A Boundary Layer Control System is installed to generate a flow field (Profile) identical to actual driving
- A Snow/Rain System facility is built so that vehicle performance can be developed under snowing and raining conditions through snow/rain testing
